Our friends vet found a break in the pelvic bone that the springfield vet either missed or failed to mention. Also, the broken leg was never set by the springfield vet. I just found this out a week later when I got an update from my friend. In order to set a bone they must put them under, set the bone, and cast the leg. According to my friends vet they must not have done this as the bones were still offset.

This experience reminded me why I will not be visiting the Riverside Vet clinic ever again.

Besides past accidents with this place, we had to bring a kitten in for a splint. Everything went fine and I thought maybe they are okay now.. shame of me. The kitten had bruising appear on his other leg a couple days later and we were told it will be fine, so we left it as that. Now my kittens skin is literally falling off and we call to see what to do. The lady told us "I'll ask the vet let me call you back" and hung up the phone! We NEVER got a call back! We called them later and asked again what to do and he said just to leave it alone and to give him antibiotics that we had here... we told him it's draining like crazy, it's a HUGE cut, it hurts him terribly.. but he never asked to see the kitten.. I'm down right done with these turds. They don't care about animals.. they just care about the money that is being dipped into their pockets.. disgusting..

WE had brought a cat in a month and there has been needless battling ever since. When we brought him in the first day he was x-rayed and his leg was splinted. Push came to shove and the kitten was adopted by a friend because the healing process was taking longer than expected. Our friend took her to her vet and there they found out a few things that springfield did wrong, hence the poor review.
